perhaps they just need all their resources focused on just 360 to finish on time. Or it could be that MS is cutting costs due to the economy and supporting 360 only since PC was for the most part a charity case for them.
Either way no big deal, just pick up a 360, they certainly are cheap enough.

Why does this game make you so upset?
GT5 is definitely the O.G. on the scene, but anything we have seen of GT5 was most likely CGI so far. It's probably safe to say GT5 will look a lot like GT5 prologue. When you compare GT5 prologue and Forza3, at best they are equal in appearance, at worse depending on the screenshot, Forza3 looks superior.
I think GT5 will be a solid equal to Forza3 when it comes out, and that is only in graphics. Gameplay I think will go to Forza.
It's like it looks better with every screenshot they release.This is so a day one purchase, when you consider all the work and details that go into this series, it's not even hard to justify the $60 cost. I can't afford not to get this masterpiece.

Typical Sony, Home turned out the same way, we see this again and again from Sony, show a bunch of CGI or phony footage of some great potential that PS3 has and will one day deliver, only to quietly release the product 10 years later as a big wet flop. Its the Sony way, and you people just eat it up every time.

to be a developer to see what I said is true. Are you guys denying that it is better to make the games on PS3 and port to 360 rather than the other way around? Are you denying that most multiplats look better on 360 when made on 360 and ported to PS3? where have you been, PS3 can run game code, it just does not do so very well or efficiently, it takes more effort and more time and more money. That is not how it works if a console is "more powerful"
The reason only PS3 exclusives look good are because only Sony is willing to foot such a bill to make them look as such.

I think your right, from what I have read, games that look identical on both platforms are as such because they actually had to dumb down the 360 version so PS3 could handle it.
This is why some lead on PS3 because you don't have to worry about doing anything on PS3 that 360 can't do. But if you go crazy on 360,then port to PS3, PS3 may not be able to handle the code.
